12 Kilometers, a spine-chilling horror film directed by Mike Pecci. Accepted into the Boston International Film Festival, it required a standout theatrical trailer. Our task: spicing it up with design elements. From captivating opening and end title cards to seamless transitions between graphics and footage. Drawing inspiration from 1980s horror classics like The Thing, the design exudes darkness, creepiness, and an ominous tone. Shot in 2K with anamorphic lenses, the boards were meticulously crafted in 2048x768 format. With SEM extreme macro photography of cholera, cells, and nerves, we created a microscopic horror theme, reinforcing the unsettling cave environment that entangles the characters.
