This 15-second ident was created for the fictional arcade Blips and Chitz, combining retro gaming nostalgia with a bold, modern aesthetic. The animation features iconic elements like Space Invaders aliens, Tetris blocks, and Super Mario mystery blocks, all brought to life in 3D with a unique color palette of blue, cyan, yellow, white, and magenta.
The journey takes viewers on an exciting camera dive into a vibrant video game world, where these familiar elements come together in a stop-motion-style animation, thanks to mograph effectors. The scene builds up to a dynamic logo reveal, with the physical renderer adding a polished, tactile finish with hint of a soft glow.
This project celebrates the charm of classic arcade games while exploring a fresh and creative take on their timeless appeal.
