BRIEF HISTORIES OF THE FUTURE - GRAPHICS

Led by Deloitte's Chief Futurist, Mike Bechtel, this series of short documentaries and "talking heads" videos explores the potential of future technologies for humanity. Kinetic Magic's director, Kyle Ruddick, enlisted my expertise for art direction and style frame design.

Our challenge was to match the hand-drawn watercolor style applied to AI-enhanced footage through Ebsynth. We embraced a concept-first approach, infusing a draftsmen/industrial designer treatment that resembled schematics sketches of prototypes. Collaborating with 3D designer Robert Brown, we created captivating visuals that animated key concepts.

Although the project was ultimately shelved, I salvaged these frames and a compelling motion test, capturing the essence of our creative exploration.
