Crest's "Pro-Health For Me" was launched in 2010 as a targeted oral care line for tweens, aiming to cater to the unique needs of 8- to 12-year-olds. The product line included toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouth rinse, and floss picks, all designed with smaller sizes, gentler flavors, and age-appropriate features. For example, the products avoided the strong flavors and alcohol content often found in adult formulations. Crest also introduced an educational app and game called "Yuck Mouth" to promote good brushing habits in an engaging way.
From start to finish, we were fully immersed in this project, bringing our expertise to every stage. We kicked off with captivating doodle-inspired storyboard designs, ensuring a compelling visual narrative. Our animation breathed life into the concept, setting the stage for a fun final cut. With extensive involvement throughout, we crafted an unforgettable video that introduces vendors to the magic of Crest's "Pro-Health - For Me!" line.
The initiative reflected Procter & Gamble’s understanding of how tweens develop more independence and require tailored products that bridge the gap between children's and adult oral care. While specific data on long-term success or market penetration is limited, the launch was well-received initially for addressing a niche market with age-appropriate solutions
