This is a 3D rendering of a Lemon Mint Rose cocktail, inspired by the vibrant aesthetics of spring drinks. Fun fact: it’s visually similar to a real Lavender French 75 I made recently! This render is part of a personal project idea I’m exploring, focusing on refining photorealistic beverage details.
While I’m happy with the overall look, this project highlighted some of Octane Render’s technical quirks. I aimed to create frosty condensation on the glass while still showing the bubbles in the liquid. Achieving both proved tricky. Lowering the IOR (Index of Refraction) in Octane caused the glass to disappear, unlike Redshift, which handles this effect more seamlessly. Despite these challenges, I think the final result captures a crisp, refreshing vibe.
