Nissan needed some really huge abstract backgrounds for a long curved 30-foot video wall that they were using as a backdrop during a tradeshow being held in Beijing. We came up with the idea to incorporate a car element per each section in order to ground the abstraction just a bit and give the eye something to focus on. The object was to lead the eye toward the right side, where the main video presentation was being given. Each board corresponds to a different section of the main video and coordinates with the color palette. The animated background were the “wow” factor that attracted viewers to the presentation rather than to convey any narrative information.
