We develop stunning video stories that generate engagement for youth-oriented brands in the tech, comics and gaming space.

Attack Motion Design – A Chicago based Studio

With a passion for clear, concise, detailed storytelling, we provide premium motion design and animation so that your video can do it’s job and tell your story. Whether that messaging is to increase awareness, generate leads, inform prospects or simply to entertain… the focus is on results.

Beautiful Video

We like to create handcrafted videos from scratch for a reason…patience and passion for the project make great work. Nuanced details add to the viewing experience and flesh out the world to make it more immersive. When every aspect of the design suits the story, the view-ablility of your video will help you stand out from the crowd and make a lasting impression. A story that is crafted in a way that emotionally binds your audience to your message is our goal.

Great Collaboration

We like working with people and solving problems together. Look, we are not going to be that guy that steers your brand in a direction it doesn’t want to go just to suit ego or artistic sensibility. Communication is crucial to a successful video project. We asks lots of questions during the discovery phase to figure out the best ways to help with your business problem, because a one-size-fits-all approach just doesn’t work. A video needs to have your voice for it to ring true, be authentic and ultimately be trustworthy.

Targeted Results

The great thing about video is a that it’s the perfect medium for targeting any problems you might be experiencing in your marketing funnel. From branding and general awareness, driving website traffic, generating leads and sales, video can adapt to your brands needs and help target pain points. We understand the difference between B2B and B2C.We know how to cut through the fluff and craft intelligent and entertaining video that links brand strategy to creative execution.

Jerry was a pleasure to work with and has a great eye for design. Was able to roll with the punches of a project that doubled in size/deliverables and met every challenge that came his way with a can-do attitude. Would definitely work with him again.

Suzie Moore, Creative Editor, Utopic

Jerry Nelson is a very talented rock solid animator. It’s a pleasure to work with him on projects. He is always is cool under pressure and delivers great results.

Marco Morales, Sound Designer, Leo Burnett Interactive

I would work with Jerry again in a heartbeat. Jerry is a perfectionist and it shows in the work he produces. His animation skills are top notch and he always met our deadlines. His demeanor is very laid back which makes working with him incredibly easy. I will definitely look to Jerry for future projects!

Ryan Holt, Owner, No Limits Multimedia

Jerry is what I would consider the “perfect freelancer”. I knew his work was outstanding based on his reel, so there was no surprise there. His quality personality and dedication to great design is what really boosts him to the top. I’m looking forward to working with him again in the near future.

Shanaé Paulus, Art Director Think Televisual

I had the pleasure of working with Jerry on my most important career assignment, i.e., my demo reel/manifesto. Jerry is a true professional – responsive and reliable; great at communicating; and is process driven while being creative (there are not many right/left brain people – Jerry’s one of them). I look forward to working with

Jason Vargas, Principal, Burnham Park

Jerry Nelson is a dedicated and talented designer and animator. I have worked with him on multiple projects and even on those projects that last until the wee hours of the morning he stays positive and committed to quality of the final product. He is not afraid of having to learn new tools or techniques

Kurt Lawson, Visual Artist, Le Generateur

Jerry Nelson is a talented and disciplined designer and animator. Creatively, he has a unique style that originates, in part, from his thorough knowledge of the tools of our trade. Work-wise, Jerry’s patient, and refreshingly ‘no-nonsense'; willing to see through whatever’s required, with a level of quality and efficiency that over-exceeds. In short, Jer is EXACTLY

Ben Poster, Producer + Shooter / Director + Editor, Leo Burnett

I hired Jerry to originally create concepts for animated dream sequences for my feature film. What I got was a collaborator who expounded on my initial ideas and brought something new and exciting to my project that I wouldn’t have ever thought of without his expertise. Jerry has a masterful knowledge of motion graphics and

A good story starts with a solid foundation. Whether you need your napkin doodle turned into a outline or a script visualized into storyboards, I can start you off on the right foot and keep your audience engaged and entertained while meeting your brief.

I like to bring together new techniques and design, mixing between live action, organic animation, stop motion, and 2DFX. Each project gives me the chance to think outside the box and push limits creatively and technically.

Contemporary problem solving, stylized storytelling, and 2d character animation is my specialty. I have worked with a wide range of blue-chip clients, small start-ups and various mom-and-pop shops to get them just what they need.

Whether it ends as a broadcast spot on TV, on the web, or used internally, I’ll make sure it’s delivered with a proper color grade, voice-over, music, and sound design. I understand the importance of compression, encoding and good SEO.

210% After Effects by Anders Hatte

Whoa check this video out by Anders Hatte. Everything in this video was done in After Effects apparently even the music which was made using audio effects such as tone and modulation, key framed to create the drums and melody. No plugs-ins or 3rd party apps were used either. Thats pretty dope, considering thebeat isn’t actually bad, and After Effects is not made for audio creation or sequencing. more

Brusspup “Water & Sound Experiment”

How’s this for an amazing practical effect. A speaker generates a 24 hz sine wave that vibrates the water while the camera recording at 24 fps make the stream appear to “freeze”. Take it up a notch and it’s a slow motion oscillation.

Wiggles & Robbins “Life Drawing Stop-Motion”

Wiggles & Robbins came up with a great idea to advertise life drawing courses at The Book Club in London. Using photographed stills of the students’ sketches, warm-ups and works-in-progress, they crafted this stop motion video with outward-facing easels set up in a circle. more
